soksabbaai is a commonly used Cambodian greeting, meaning good health and happiness. Since March 2004, Soksabbaai is also the name of a non-profit training and income generating project, seeking to equip Cambodians to run a small tailoring business. The training is focused on sewing, making patterns, designing and running a business.
Since Januari 2010 soksabbaai is an independent little company, completely run by some of the people who started at soksabbaai as trainees. They are ready to continue the business and make it work. Besides the soksabbaai collections and production for oversees costumers they will focus on the local Cambodian market where the main focus is on tailor made clothes for special occasions.
